We are all individuals and it is unfair to brand a group as if there are no exceptions. I know you know this, but it is a good idea to remind ourselves of it every now and then.

The answer, I think, is that [most] American blacks are trapped in a Catch-22. They have been raised to believe that their only hope in this world is to support their hive - which, unfortunately, they define as "black people" and not as "people." Unfortunately, the first rule of hive behavior is that you must never question the hive. The few who do get roughed up. We've seen that several times. Consequently, people stay in the hive despite it being against their own interests because they are part of the hive.

The hive, ironically, is controlled by a Democratic party which is mostly white. If blacks could think for themselves, they'd realize that conditions for blacks have not improved in decades and that blindly following the Democrats is pretty stupid. But they've been taught not to do that.

This is the case as well to a lesser extent for other Democrats. In most cases, they were not under the enormous pressure to conform that blacks have been, but they had a similar "poor, poor, pitiful me" mentality and were intellectually lazy, thus allowing others to co-opt their minds just the same.

I have never understood this. Why they continually vote for the party of enslavement so blindly and in lock step is just a mystery to me...
