The U.S. economy grew at a 2.6 percent rate in 2018’s fourth quarter, down from a more robust, tax-cut-fueled expansion earlier in the year.

That marks a significant slowdown from the middle of the year, when a sugar high fueled by tax cuts briefly pushed growth above 4 percent.
