It has been a good week,.
I am movin g my dad downstairs next week to an assisted living, level 3 care room at the place he is at. This will give him much needed sets of eyes on him all day as well as people to help him all day long with the things he cannot do himself nor remember anymore. I was doing all of that before including making andfeding him breakfast daily and everything else you can think of.
Needless to say I have reached the point of exhaustion and burnout. 8 months of that routine will burn you out...

So I am happy that HE will get better care when I am not around. I will still go over to see him and likely multiple times weekly, but I can also concentrate onmy clients and go to work without worrying or getting up extremely early.

The second reason I am happyis because now I get to go see my daughter and grandchildren in Virginia first week of June. Made he airline reservations yesterday for mrs. micro and myself.

The thing that gets me is tryingto rent a car at an airport. In Norfolk there is a huge add-on FEE in addition to the rental rates and taxes. So even if you can find a great discounted rate on a vehicle, you will still add on a huge amount of money to that for the airort....
WISH there was a way that was easy to be able to go rent offsite and return the car and get a ride to the airport when we return. It would likely be a lot less money....
