The police arrest, but everyone they arrest is immediately released. They've got people wandering around who have been arrested forty times or more. The police know them by name! After a while, the police give up and stop arresting them. One said that as a policeman, he used to be proud of the good he was doing. Now he's doing nothing, just killing time until retirement.

For me, the most poignant part of the entire video is the city council meeting where the politicians tell outraged Seattle residents that they need to call the police about the things they've described. The residents angrily respond that they've done that and the police have told them they need to get rid of the city council.

I don't need to watch a video. I get down there and see it for myself. Its disgusting to say the least. They had a camp setup on the sidewalk RIGHT BY the space needle. When folks would walk by the tent dwellers would reach out and grab their legs. It really needs to be taken care of DE. Folks don't even go around the space needle now. They are pizzed.
