I'm really ticked off right now. The house in this thread was sold for $31,500.
`
The thing is, we would almost certainly have paid more than that. We were called by a realtor who said it couldn't be shown and that we would need to wait until its cleanup was complete. So we were waiting...
`
And now it's suddenly sold. How much do you want to bet that a realtor bought it?

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

My wife just got off the phone with a realtor. The house had what he called "an insane number of domestic animals living in it," and the town ordered the bank to clean it up. When the domestic animals were removed, wild animals moved in. The realtor says the house is being treated now as almost a hazmat site. It would probably need to be torn down to its frame and re-built.

At $40,500, it still is a little tempting to me, but I guess I'll pass on it. I don't know how to build a house even if it is already framed.
