Smollett’s “Punishment”

The Chicago prosecutor who gave Jussie Smollett a Get-Out-of-Jail card says that his “community service” is punishment enough for the criminal racial hoax that he perpetrated, nearly causing race riots in Chicago and around the country. The “community service” was spending two days, Friday and Monday, at Jesse Jackson’s “Operation Push” whose main function is to register welfare recipients to vote.
Even that was too much punishment, however. After all, Jussie was only continuing to spread the Clinton campaign theme of 2016 that all Trump supporters are “deplorable” racists, sexists, homophobes, bla, bla, bla, bla,bla, bla when he made up the story of being mugged by MAGA hat-wearing white rednecks in inner-city Chicago on a -42 degree night. For that he should be rewarded, not punished, for his effort to save humanity from Trumpism. (That’s what the PUSH in Operation PUSH stands for by the way: People United to Save Humanity).
