The reason it matters, clo, is that it looks increasingly like this entire thing may have been a criminal hoax perpetrated by Democrats, possibly even Camel Harris or Barry Hussein, to keep Hate Crimes at the top of people's consciousness when they vote in 2020.

I sure hope that a past President wasn't involved. That would be awful, don't you think? But it kind of makes sense since the case was an anchor weighing down certain liberal candidates. That would explain why Mooochelle Obama's chief of staff acted to take the Smollett case out of the headlines. (Which doesn't seem to have worked.) Pretty strange...

I agree with you that this investigation isn't nearly as important as other things, particularly finding out how the Trump-collusion hoax started and why it gained so much steam. It's important to figure out who was behind it and whether they are traitors who should be executed. Fortunately, the White House finally has good people in place to investigate such a thing. Democrats don't learn easily, but even they can benefit by seeing that witch hunts come at a price.

I wonder if an executed former President still gets a Chicago library?
