If he's seeking bigger text (and everything else), then he can get that by changing his display resolution. Depending on the version of Windows, he can adjust that either through Start / Control Panel or by right clicking on his desktop.

I don't think one can resize a 'full screen' mode window.
One can 'take it out of full screen' (by clicking the square
button between the 'X' and the '-' buttons in the top right
corner) then resize it to as close to full screen as one wants.

(Just in case, resizing a window is done by moving the mouse
pointer back and forth over the edge of the window till it
turns into a double arrow. Then hold the left mouse button
down and move the edge to where one wants it. Right, Left,
Top, or Bottom - all are edges which can be adjusted. Try
it in the corner, and one can resize the window diagonally.)

Hmmm. I think it might be conceivable that the screen image
is running off the top of your monitor? If so that would
require adjustments to the monitor itself . . . And what to do
varies by monitor type.
