The temperature today hit 52 and tomorrow will be even warmer. This is, therefore, the FIRST night since early November (I think) when the temperature won't fall below 32°. Moreover, warmer weather appears to be here to stay.

The conversation my computer picked up earlier was about mothballing the wood stove until next year. It overheats the house on evenings like this. I think it's time to switch to the nice, easy, thermostat-controlled oil heater. (During cold weather, oil is about 3X the cost of wood, which is why most people around here use wood. Hopefully, with the nights being warmer, we won't burn oil at the rate we would have earlier.)

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

So, I take it you still have sub-zero temperatures
up there in your winter wonderland.

I think the temperature got near 70 degrees here today.
I was outside, cut down a couple of small ugly trees.
Very nice, sunny day for me.
Zim.
