My siblings did all that they could with both parents, and I like to think that I did too though I was away for the worst of it. I'll always harbor guilt that I didn't do enough. I'm not sure how your siblings can live with themselves.

Just extremely busy this past week. Making a lot of arrangements for my father as well. Tomorrow is moving day for him to ground floor and into assisted living care with aids and nurses to take care of him. I have been waiting for three months for a room to become available.

So, after tomorrow I can breathe again.... Yes, I am fried, smoked, worn out, bone tired... But this will be huge help and ease my mind and my body a lot.

My dad is declining continually. He has entered into part of the 7th stage of alzheimer's and still has symptoms of stage 6 as well. So he is crossing over.... I would be surprised if he is still with us in a year but not for me to decide. I just want the best care possible for him now and people to watch him continuously all day.

Tomorrow I will bem oving furniture from his room downstairs into his studio room in the assisted living ward. Have lots of help coming. Strong backs and no brains. Perfect.... I can direct...

So wills till be busy thru then. Have mneeting with staff there at 3:00 p.m today.
