As well as claiming various islands technically
belonging to the Phillipines. As well as border
claims on India . . . And the list goes on and on and on.
While Russia would like to expand their empire by
force of arms . . . they be near bankrupt and their
current adventure in the Ukraine is not going well.
China, on the other hand, is building a deep water Navy and
is actively pushing the boundaries of their 'empire' here and
there . . . Pushing just enough to get their way but not hard
enough to start a major war.
