De

I have that same issue. A little later this year I will be loking into a compact SUV like a Honda CRV, Hyundai Tuscon Limited, something like one of those. Only requirement is that they have multi positional powered Passenger seat as well as driver seat. The Mazda MX5 or a Equinox LTZ could fil the bill. That trim level comes with what I need.

We will have a 14 year old car for sale then with 84,000 original miles on it and all new suspension, exhaust system, brakes, tires. Really good air conditioning and heat and engine purrs.... Nice car for 14 years old. Driven to grocery store, mall, and daughter's house.

SOmeone will get a realay nice old car that drives like new... It's just low to the ground with 15 inch tires on it...

I just changed PCV valves on BOTH cars yesterday. They made a difference. Engines seemed to run a little freer and such. Also helps keep down on oil being burned inside the crankcase.

So I will be in themarket a little later this year for mrs. micro.... who wants to sit up higher...

Nemo:

Re: "4x4 I presume..."
4x4, absolutely. But the wife now says "Not a LARGE SUV." A medium one would be fine. She just doesn't want another car. (Ironically, I wouldn't mind a car at all.) Driving the minivan spoiled her and she's gotten used to sitting a little higher.
