"Ironically, what I've read is that a diet that includes hot peppers is very good for the digestive tract. The peppers toughen it up and make it less sensitive to foods that might otherwise lead to problems. But I think you have to eat the peppers regularly, not just once in a while.

Thanks a lot.... Just because I am a Marine does not mean I am a glutton for punishment. lol!!!!

No sir. I like all kinds of things with some spices in them. Just not SPICEY HOT. Tears me up.

I like a lot of things like Cajun Gumbo and jumbalaya. Cannot do the hot sauces on wings. I can eat mild jalapeno peppers but nothing hotter.

I should have maybe clarified a bit more. Ribs is a tuff old Marine but doesn't mean that we are gluttons for punishment. Got enough of that being on active duty.

Trust me when I tell you what passed for food over there most people would not touch much less put int heir mouth and swallow. I'm a little more picky in civilian life.
