The Weather

We've hit the "glorious" time of the year, where every day is in the 60s, the 70s or (eventually) the 80s and the sun is out often enough that things are rapidly greening up. With the exception of a couple of weeks in the summer that get too hot (into the 90s), it will stay in what I regard as the perfect range until October.

Despite what the snow-haters will tell you, the weather is one of the best reasons for living here. Every day is beautiful... birds are singing... flowers are beginning to pop up... going outside for a stroll is like walking around on a golf course.

When I got here last year, I didn't have a chance to enjoy this. I moved here on the day of a blizzard, stayed about a week, then had to go to California for an extended time. THIS year will be a different story.
