I'm beginning to think that it might be a good idea to avoid investing
in states like californica or new yoke. High taxes on businesses?
One might think that that would lower the amount of cash available for
paying dividends.
Or californica's PG&E electric utility . . .
Went bankrupt around 2001 because of the screwed up way californica
tried to de-regulate electricity. (PG&E is considering going bankrupt
again - allegedly because under californica law they are being held
liable for wildfire damages possibly caused by utility lines.)
