I don't think the ticks will be worse later in the year. Last year, after all, I only picked up two... but then I was in California from April 25 until late May. Hopefully that means that the ticks won't be as prevalent here in another month

To answer your question, no, I didn't put any rocks in the green house. I didn't have too many flat rocks... just enough to put in a little front stoop. They're surprisingly stable, though... easy to walk on.
