When decisions needed to be made, we weren't present. That's what led to this. We had made decisions under one set of circumstances and relayed them to the builder, but new circumstances arose and we weren't there to say "All right, then do this instead of what we previously said."

It won't be that way with our house, believe me. I'm not too concerned about the barn. As a warehouse, it is superb. 1800 sq feet of storage. 600 sq feet of insulated living space and bathroom. 600 sq ft of garage.
And 600 sq ft of weird concrete pens that we'll probably just use for miscellaneous items.
