Yes I did. But ONLY after having a fight with Golden Rule Insurance for One (individual or family) short term health insurance.
The short term (then it was 6 months and under Trump allowed to also be a year long contract) health insurance was actually very reasonably priced but they did not cover pre-existing conditions.

WE did not have any that were problematic so it worked for us. For two years.

After I told them I would not be paying them 3 months of back premium for coverage they denied me after they screwed up on my renewal application and admitted, I joined MediShare.

They are NOT cheap and you willnot be covered for any pre=existing condition that you have had within five years.

It was only through winning a final appeal for my spine cyst removal surgery that I was able to get those costs paid that were over ten thousand dollars.

I would not recommend them to ANYBODY. It ws like they were looking for any excuse to deny a real, genuine, out of nowhere medical occurence that happened suddenly and unexpectedly and it had never in my lifetime happened before, so it was not a pre-existing condition.

They tried to make it one but a panel of other ordinary members heard my explanation and sided with me...

that was onlythingthat saved me from havingto pay out about 50,000 dollars.

So, I intensely dislike medishare....

The short term is good and can be renewed at end of every period. You just re-enroll with a new app.

It is not available everywhere but here in my part of country, it is widely used.... I had a 5,000 dollar deductibe and then an 80/20 co-pay of next 5,000 and after that it was 100 percent covered. Not bad for $400./month for both of us...
