Jussie's shysters are speciously trying to conflate "charges that were previously brought and dismissed against him" with double jeopardy. My understanding is that the rightful charges against Jussie were surreptitiously dismissed by an unscrupulous district attorney before they ever had a chance to get to court. That means these charges were never adjudicated; therefore, he was never declared innocent of the charges in the first place. Hence, there is no double jeopardy if those charges are reintroduced in court.
So, a special prosecutor should be able to investigate and prosecute all misconduct in this case - misconduct by Jussie, by Jussie's shysters, by the sleazy district attorney, and by any other outside parties (the Obamas and their Choom Gang?) who had a hand in influencing the district attorney to throw the case.
