Miami Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills doubled down on his stance against team owner Stephen Ross, who is hosting a fundraiser for President Donald Trump at his home through his RISE foundation.
An emotional Stills told reporters Thursday that he received close to 10 death threats since making comments earlier in the week.
Hmmm ... Jussie Smollett probably helped Stills find these "bullies" through his "rent-a-stalker" connections, eh?
The 27-year-old called out the Dolphins owner as hypocritical because RISE's mission statement illuminates "equality" and combats racial discrimination. On Tuesday, he tweeted, "you can't have a non profit with this mission statement then open your doors to Trump."
Well, Kenny ... you cluelessly believe that because you're the actual racist. You've got NOTHING but a bad case of Trump Derangement Syndrome to support your contention that President Trump has ever been racist. You simply HATE President Trump, personally and viscerally ... the hate is coming from you, not Stephen Ross or Donald Trump.
Following Miami's 34-27 preseason victory over the Atlanta Falcons, Stills expounded upon his initial stance.
"Someone has to have enough courage to let him know he can't play both sides of this," Stills told reporters. "It's something that I can look back on and say I made the right decision. ... If you're going to associate yourself with bad people, then people are going to know about it. I put it out there for everybody to see it. If you say you're going to be about something, let's be about it."
Be careful, there, Kenny ... patting yourself on the back about false courage might injure your shoulder. You don't want to miss any games, do ya?
Dolphins coach Brian Flores told reporters Wednesday that while he respected the veteran receiver using his platform, he was disappointed that Stills didn't talk to Ross directly instead of airing it out over social media.
Stills apologetically added: "Maybe I shouldn't have done it on social media, but I did." ...
Yeah ... that's what I thought ... so much for all blabbering about your personal courage, eh, Kenny? Come on, Kenny ... be a man for once in your life ... step up and give your boss a spitting earful right to his face. Then, he can fittingly ignore you to your face, just like he has your pompous, inane, sophomoric tweets.
