I think that ammo is what THEY are going to go after.

...obama practically dried up the ammo market by buying requiring government agencies that had no reason for guns and ammo to buy hundreds of thousands of rounds. The supply went away over night. Over a six month period of time I managed to get together 500 rounds for my remington 700 bdl. I also got 500 for my .45.

Re: "Be wary of Wolf, De ... it can be pretty dirty stuff."
Yep, I know about Wolf. What I want is a reserve of 1,000 rounds per gun that will keep my THEORETICAL weapons from ever becoming obsolete due to an inability to obtain ammo. As far as I'm concerned, if I have to undergo a background check one day in order to buy ammo, the ammo is no longer available. I think that ammo is what THEY are going to go after. Firearms themselves will probably be protected by the 2nd Amendment. (Not necessarily, though. I haven't forgotten the Federal Assault Weapons ban of 1994.)

To meet my goal, I don't need quality ammo. I just need something that will keep the guns from ever being dysfunctional. I'll probably lock the stuff up in an airtight container and never look at it again.
