El Monte's "reasoning" is that drivers should receive $15/hr toward the maintenance of their car. Wow. That's $31,200 per year, which is more than a new 6-cylinder Toyota Highlander costs. I don't know about you guys, but I'd take a job that, as part of my pay, would give me a car per year.
