I don't know why I hadn't really thought about this. It's probably because I'd heard quantum decrypting described as one of those "30 years away" fantasies that I may never see. If the article is right, it means that cryptocurrencies - still in their infancies - will end before they ever really begin. No wonder the government doesn't seem too concerned. (Government worries about the things it cannot control. Go gold.)
