There is a simple solution to all this absurd UNION BS.
CLOSE the freaking plants. EXPAND the plants in Mexico and anywhere else in the world. TELL the UAW to go pound salt.
And to that STUPID, IGNORANT union person whose shirt says "UNIONS MADE US", she should have on the back of that shirt wording to the effect that "I do not study History, know nothing of the founding of the country, and have been totally brainwashed by UNION BULLSHIT.
It's a good thing I am not the head of GM. There would be 49,000 ex employees tomorrow. These people are among the very highest paid assembly line people in the world. Benefits that only most corporate ceo's think about.

NOBODY can afford to keep paying more and more and more every year for a new car. They have priced themselves almost out of themarketplace....
But the smart union people canot quite bring themselves to figure it out...
THIS IS EXACTLY WHY companies look to move their production plants to Mexico, or Thailand, or South America...
AND, if it were me, and I was actually in a TOYOTA factory in Nuevo Laredo a few years ago, with a GM Plant pretty close by, THESE PLANTS would be closed and production shut down and relocated to Mexico ASAP.
GM needs to tell the UAW that unless you knock it off the plants are going to close permanently and you all will be out of a job.
