...we had the same problem as far back as I can remember. We used to call em "hoboes". They didn't live that way because they had to, they lived that way because they wanted to. Some are crazy, some are lazy, some are crazy, some are addicted to some drug or just happy to be off the grid. No taxes, no forms to fill out. No robo-calls, no cell phones, no computers. They are turning off and dropping out. It was fashionable in the sixties. It is easier and far more fun to lay around smoking pot of taking some other drug or booze and let somebody else worry about your problems.

...somebody said that what gets rewarded is what gets done. These folks are doing nothing and being rewarded for it.

...hunger is natures answer to the labor problem.

Two things that bother me about this.

1.) What are the real sources of homelessness?
Are they from things like urban re-development wiping out low income housing
leaving poor folks with no homes and no help?

How many became homeless because the obozo administration destroyed America's
manufacturing jobs?

Are there other things that local, state, or federal government has or can
do which make the homeless problem bigger?

2.) I very much fear that 'somebody' is going to decide the federal 'MUST'
do something about homeless . . . and with californica (rumoredly) planning
on spending upwards of a half million dollars per unit for homeless
peoples . . . I think one can see the graft, corruption, and outright theft
of the Peoples Moneys that will be taking place if the fed tries to solve
the 'homeless problem'.

Zim.
