The video I posted some time back on Seattle's homeless opined that approximately ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of the homelessness is due to drug use. I'm inclined to think the real number is more like 99 percent.

Two things that bother me about this.

1.) What are the real sources of homelessness?
Are they from things like urban re-development wiping out low income housing
leaving poor folks with no homes and no help?

How many became homeless because the obozo administration destroyed America's
manufacturing jobs?

Are there other things that local, state, or federal government has or can
do which make the homeless problem bigger?

2.) I very much fear that 'somebody' is going to decide the federal 'MUST'
do something about homeless . . . and with californica (rumoredly) planning
on spending upwards of a half million dollars per unit for homeless
peoples . . . I think one can see the graft, corruption, and outright theft
of the Peoples Moneys that will be taking place if the fed tries to solve
the 'homeless problem'.
