Boss,
An honest to God stock market bubble would not be good for
our retirement funds.

I remember back in 1997, 1998, and 1999 . . . The rapidly
climbing tech stocks and markets overall had me thinking
I might could be a millionaire in ten years . . .

Then 2000 and the bubble popped and oh how fast my early
retirement dreams shattered.

Live, learn, and take good notes.

Asset allocation and diversification really work.
Being a bit contrary also helps. In 2009 my preferred
stocks, power companies, were looking like the red headed
stepchildren of the investment world. Share prices going
down like the Titanic while the dot.coms was screaming up
like rocket ships.

After the dot com bubble burst in 2000 . . . I watched
those power company stocks of mine ratchet upwards.

Diversify diversify and diversify.

Zim.
