I bought a couple or three boxes, maybe a dozen each of the N95's during the wildfires up here.. Passed many out to family, friends back then. Looking around I still have a dozen in a ziplock, leftover. As we gained access to the burn area to check out my BIL's place, they gave us each a Home Depot bucket, and in it were a couple pairs of leather gloves, masks, and even bottled water.. So we used, but saved parts from those, too. All set.

The local Hardware store where I bought them just donated a few pallets plus $1M to our local hospitals.. Local Construction Company, Ghilotti also donated a bunch, and now we know Tim Cook also pitched in all over the State..

Lots of great people out there, some are in a position to really, seriously contribute.. Nice..

Now, I assume that this is an example of price gouging. The last time I bought face masks was a few years ago when I was doing some restoration work on an antique Singer sewing machine and I bought a package of 3M N95 masks at Home Depot that I used when I was cleaning the metal parts, sanding the wood and painting the various parts. I think they came 2 or 3 in a package for something like $5.00. I've still got one left although it's been used and it's not very clean.
