SO, if we only have 12 deaths per million cases why are we calling this a pandemic?

That is a pretty LOW number.... Wow What a crisis....

Re: "Sweden Has Lower Number of Coronavirus Cases per Million People than United States"
It's curious that the article chooses to compare the U.S. to Sweden, when there are so many other countries to choose from. Sweden does have a slightly better track record than we do when it comes to coronavirus cases per million people... 490 versus 570 as of right now, making it 14 percent better. But Sweden is 100 percent worse on the more important stat, DEATHS! Sweden has 24 deaths per million while the U.S. has 12. So I don't know why anyone would be bragging on Sweden - especially when Canada, right next door, shows us up in both categories. The author is just a fan of socialism, maybe??

In light of this, the author's statement that "And after several weeks of their experiment it appears Sweden is doing no worse than any other advanced country." is particularly disingenuous, wouldn't you agree?
