We're up to number three, and this one is hitting much closer to home: We just got word that our daughter-in-law, up in LA, has been confirmed as having COVID-19. Our son took her to the ER on Sunday where they saw her, checked-up her out, tested her and then sent her home. They heard from the hospital today that she tested positive. They told her to stay at home, get as much rest as positive and not to come back unless she gets much worse. Including her, they have six people in their household, our son and their 5 year old daughter, two teenage boys by her first marriage and her mother, who's been here from Mexico since before Thanksgiving. We haven't had any contact with them since just after Christmas.

We have a second family member who has contracted COVID-19, my wife's cousin back in Michigan. He's our age and a Vietnam vet (three Purple Hearts) and a survivor of a quintuple heart bypass, so he's a tough old bird and he thinks that the worst is over.
