My beloved grandmother would have been 121 today.
She lived to be 99, and was as beautiful inside as out.
She played the piano, guitar, harmonica, accordion, by ear.
Made rosary beads that were sent overseas.
Worked at a hospital after her husband died in his forties, a month before I was born.
She lived with us & was a safe haven for me when times were stormy with my dad.
She married in her 60's to a man she was originally engaged to. He took her away from me ;)
He gave he a good life as she did for him.
He died 6 months after her, but he was a year younger.
She was the bestest!
