I think that guy has several things backwards, and possibly just
plain wrong.
Point One. Space was 'militarized' long before civilian uses
for it were even thought about. I believe they was V2 ballistic
missiles shot from Germany at London in WWII . . .
More than a few satellite launchers were actually ICBM's re-purposed
into non-military launch vehicles.
Why and who are militarizing space? let me see, I read reports that
Russia has had a few orbital vehicles checking out our spy satellites.
China has been proving out anti-satellite rockets. Of course, I'm
certain we've been doing the same sort of things . . . But if we
weren't it is a safe bet we could find ourselves getting hammered
from space . . .
