Well, I suppose this is understandable from his point of view ... being that Rhodes is a racist Democrat ... all Asians look alike, so they must all think alike, too, right?

When it comes to displays of self-unawareness, willful ignorance and occasional rank hypocrisy it's hard to beat certain ex Obama administration staffers. Ex deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes provides today's example with his swipe at comments about the Chinese government from Secretary of State Mike Pompeo:
Ben Rhodes ~ This is really dangerous language - both in inciting bigotry against Asians and raising the risk of conflict with China.
Responding to: Secretary Pompeo ~ The Chinese Communist Party continues to block access to the Western world, the world's best scientists, refusing to cooperate with world health experts, to figure out exactly what happened. This is unacceptable during an ongoing threat, an ongoing pandemic.
China has a history of infecting the world and they have a history of running substandard laboratories. These are not the first times that we've had a world exposed to viruses as a result of failures in a Chinese lab.

That so many on the left conflate the two is proof that either a) they can't draw a delineation or b) they have other reasons to push Chinese propaganda.
