Interesting.
Thankfully the Israeli scientists have created a CURE that destroys covid-19 virus in humans and is now working on making a medicine for people tot ake that get it.
This was amazing news a couple of days ago.

Smartest person I ever spent time with was an Israeli Physicist who flew over here and I had to work with him for a week on a project. That guy was off the charts brilliant. Never forgot him.. I felt stupid next to him...

The slide above shows the difference between a natural mutation versus insertion. In the first, a single nucleotide gets swapped out for another one - in this case, a T gets changed to a G. Because of the change, this would read out and give you a different amino acid in the protein that this is coding for. The second is an insertion, where everything is the same except that there's a whole new block of letters that have been put in, and then everything continues as normal after that.

Insertions are normally done in a laboratory and are glaringly obvious to those who look for them. COVID-19 IS THE RESULT OF AN INSERTION. Although I'm tempted to say that this proves it was lab-created, I'm finding that insertions can also, but rarely, occur as a result of a wrinkle in the strand during the natural replication process.
