Re: "I thought Billy Gates had a vaccine sitting in the wings already patented trying to get Fauci to get the President to say that everuyone needs to take his so called vaccine. Not that we would, but do you remember that???"
I haven't been following him too closely. I know that he's been promoting vaccines for a long time, and if the advantages his money and time have bestowed on companies don't yield him with a winner, he's going to be sorely disappointed not to mention embarrassed. That said, there are reportedly 250 companies working on COVID-19 "cures." I don't think the odds are good that Bill Gates is going to be the first one to succeed. After all, if it was easy to do, someone would have created a cure for the common cold long ago. COVID-19 *is* a derivative of the common cold.Re: "Keep your eyes on the Israelis. hat their labcame up with looked very, very promising as ana cual medisine that attacks the coronavirus in the bloodstream and kills it... At least that is what the news article said I had read last week...""The Israelis" is pretty broad. Pluristem is also "the Israelis" - but I'm pretty sure it's not the Israelis you're referring to.

As I said, there are a lot of companies working on cures. They're all going to tell you that their product will be first and best. I wouldn't count on any of them, though. Gilead, for instance, was on to something wonderful before results came back and showed it actually was on to something useless. There's going to be a lot of that. That said, hydroxychloroquine came along VERY quickly. It really does work... in the infection's very early stages, before it has begun doing damage. As you know, its success surprised the heck out of me.
