As you know, I disagree with your opinion that the coronavirus is overblown. (Notice that I don't say that it's wrong, though.) I think the virus is extremely serious and that it would have killed far more people than it has had it not been for the unprecedented measures that were taken. Considering that we are reopening the country in some places, I think we'll see a Round 2 of the disease, maybe much worse than what we've seen so far. That's how it was with the Spanish Flu.

But I don't disagree with reopening the country. I think that, in all likelihood, locking the country down will prove to be just as dangerous as the virus, and that the disease is probably going to have its way with us no matter what. We've never beaten the common cold in the past. I don't think we will this time, either, so we may as well just let it kill a few million Americans if it's inevitable.

Yes, I think a new round of stimulus checks should be issued because of the pathetic mess the virus and government have made of our country.
