I read yesterday that over half of all U.S. counties have had no cases of COVID-19. Interesting! It might not be completely true, though. Seriously ill patients are often housed in the handful of hospitals with wards for the highly infectious . They aren't tracked by their residences but by where they are right now.

In the early days of COVID-19, it was interesting to see them moving around on the virus tracking sites as counties that had a case or two "yesterday" were reported as having zero cases "today." It's not so true anymore. Most COVID-19 patients are quarantined at home.
