...once upon a time a long time ago da fone cumpny had a problem that they had no code for when closing out a trouble ticket. They decided that the guys in the field should close those tickets out to "bad dial". The hot shots in the main office would know what that meant.
...two years later they redisigned the dial. I think the original problem still exists.
...here's another thought on why so many deaths are reported as covid when they aren't. Hospitals get more money for a covid patient than they do for other illnesses.
...and finally, if the only tool you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
