He showed me pics of the inside of the knee where he repaired, They were very detailed and he explained them to me. Wow. That meniscus was an ugly mess. He was right..

I asked him what causes things like this to happen.

He got a grin on his face and calmly reac hed over, picked up my patient form, circled my AGE and pointed to it and said THIS... He was laughing and enjoying the good natured ribbing. Doc is a great and accomplished Knee surgeon.. We are same age and I really like him. Would not trust anyone else with my knees or shoulders but him. IF he were a spine surgeon He would be who I would see.

He said it was his opinionif I did not do anything stupid the knee should last at least another ten years.

By that time I will be as old as Ribit and dirt... Ready for my final resting place.... lol!!!!!!!

A good checkup. He did say to not be full of bravado and take a pain pill when it starts throbing. That is why he provided that prescription. I was glad he told me because I will have a tendency to be macho man.. NAd live with the pain... While I can stand it, I would prefer not having to deal with it..

I feel badly for Nemo with that horrible broken verteral bone condition he has...
Anyway, I am recovering nicely and my grandkids will be here soon to deliver MULCH and spread it all over our shrub beds..... How good is that?
