Re: "I'll bet his GARDEN is bigger than De's garden."I wouldn't be at all surprised. I'm finding that preparing the soil is a huge job... much harder than I expected. Removing the rocks is the worst, but then I'm also adding compost, horse manure and urea (the most bang for the buck, I think, if you need nitrogen), and making trellises out of tree limbs.

At this point, my garden has 3 varieties of tomato, radishes, chives, 4 types of lettuce, 2 types of pepper, spinach, two types of green beans (one of which is gold, not green), yellow zucchini and peas. Many of these are recently planted seeds, though. I don't know how well they'll do. Some of them are Burpee seeds prepared for 2018. They might not germinate - but I'll known soon enough to still be able to plant other things in the same spots if I have to.

My "Survival pack" of heirloom seeds was prepared for 2019 and should be good for several years. I already found that some of those seeds didn't sprout. The eggplant, for instance.

Makes ya wonder, doesn't it?

I had this thought before that I should vacuum.

Luckily, that thought passed.

I hope my desire for cupcakes passes, too, as it would be my first driving experience in months.

I just don't know how to warn everyone on the road.
