...I have been shot at by snipers. They weren't very good snipers and they weren't shooting at me personally they were shooting at a bunch of us. Never hit a damned thing. I volunteered myself to go shoot em but the C.O was askeered that if I killed em they might be replaced by someone that could shoot. A reasonable assertion I thought.
