...and another thing! If I get stopped and I am being cooperative and they put cuffs on me, for my own safety of course, they are going to have to get me a lawyer before I say another word cause I won't tell them so much as the time of day.

...btw, when the cops put handcuffs on ya for your safety, why don't they put a pair on themselves so they will be safe too? Gimmee Brake! Both sides could lighten up a bit and it would go a long way. Biggest problem I see with today's cops is that they have no sense of humor.

...if ya watch "Live Pd" and "COPS" ya probably seen people taken down using more force than needed but it isn't being done in a vacuum. That's what they are told to do and how they are told to do it by policitians.

...they search every prisoner and handcuff every prisoner. Hell they even handcuff people while they are talking to them. Back in the 60's we didn't handcuff people unless they were violent to start with. Didn't search em unless we were going to arrest them. A lot of this kind of stuff could be "de-escalated" but it would take laws and policy changes to do it. It's horseshit to pass laws and train cops to do things one way and then fire them or put them in jail for doing that. I can't think of any reason that a man or woman would want to be a cop these days, unless they were "hunters" and "adrenalin junkies".
