And,
The sad thing is, the demoncrappers will blame it on
Trump and the half wits will believe them.

"City Council has preliminarily approved a budget for fiscal year 2021 that among other changes, would reduce the Philadelphia Police Department's budget by $33 million. Mayor Jim Kenney says the city is facing a $749 million revenue shortfall due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The preliminary budget also calls for several police reform measures including body cameras for officers, implicit bias training and the use of mental health professionals for police-assisted diversion.

Other budget proposals include a $5.8 million reduction to the fire department's budget, an increase in the parking tax, as well as an increase to the non resident wage and net profit tax."

Yeah, Philly residents currently pay a 3.93% city tax on earnings, while nonresidents who work in the city pay a 3.50% city tax on earnings. Hmmm ... looks like they're going after nonresidents who work in the city - increase the parking tax for those who commute by car, as well as the overall increase in nonresident income tax. They might find it increasingly difficult to attract workers for jobs within the city limits. If you live outside of Philly, you will have to pay more in taxes in order to work in a decidedly more dangerous area. If you live inside Philly ... well ... God help you ... you'll be living in a hell-hole that caters to people on the dole in public housing with decreased amounts of support from depleted police and fire departments.

The politicians in charge of the Democrat Plantations are hell-bent to turn their cities into dilapidated areas of poverty and suffering. As has been posted many times on these boards, Margaret Thatcher famously (and quite correctly) said, "The problem with Socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money." The Democrat Plantations cannot print their own fiat currency and they will quickly destroy their tax base, so it will not be long before they collapse.
