Sounds to me . . .
Like he needs to schedule it for a 'maintenance run'
once a week. Pop it up on the Interstate run down a
couple of exits worth then get off, come around, and
drive back. Do it on the weekend when a buddy is
available in case he needs a ride back.

No, no, the van belongs to Joey now. It sat unused in Virginia since February when I retrieved him to New Hampshire. I'm sure that's why the battery died.

My wife is driving her car back to NH (sounds like it will be Monday. I can't wait.) The van will stay down there with my son. That's why we want to make sure it's healthy before she leaves him. Joey is not at all mechanically inclined. In fact, he's the only young man I think I've ever known who hates to drive. If he's at all nervous about the van, he won't use it at all and then we'll have a dead battery again the next time we show up.
