so it isn't going to end. It's only going to get worse.

I try explaining this to my landlord. He said yesterday oh it will just blow over. I told him Dont hold your breath!!!!! Sad to say he is fringe left..........but thats ok I just try to not talk to much politics with him anymore.

SANE people ??????????????"Conservatives are, by and large, successful, comfortable people. As I've said several times, comfortable people don't fight. Liberals, conversely, are miserable failures. The goal of a liberal government will be to take conservative comfort away. THEN conservatives may finally fight. Trouble is, many of them will no longer be conservatives. Miserable people often seek government help. They become librerals. The country is truly screwed.

What's happening is all TEOTWAWKI. Not a TEOTWAWKI that I can say I envisioned, but still a TEOTWAWKI. It's all, ultimately, driven by debt. The United States no longer has enough prosperity to go around. The most miserable of its citizens are fighting. The comfortable ones are complacent, waiting for the fighting to end. But the fighting is working (if you can call what's happening "working") so it isn't going to end. It's only going to get worse.

Sad.
