"I feel sorry for you precious gents. You can't say or do a thing without worrying if your future includes attorneys."

Well, that's the conundrum, Dahlin' ... when all of this #MeToo insanity started ramping up, the quite predictable reaction from men in the office place was to step back and limit higher-risk interactions with female co-workers (i.e., out-of-town, overnight meetings, one-on-one lunches and dinners, after-work drinks, etc.). HOWEVER, the #MeToo feminists screamed bloody murder about that because they said that limited opportunities for advancement for women if they couldn't freely move within the business circles of the male employees. Men rightly saw that argument as a ridiculous Catch-22 - women still want all of the more intimate business interactions, BUT they still want the open opportunity to yell "HARASSMENT!" whenever it suits them. Granted, there are definitely cases of very real harassment that need to be punished, BUT there are also a whole helluva lot of cases where the supposed harassment (or worse) is an extreme stretch or downright figment of a female's overactive fantasy world - Christine Blasey Ford anyone? So, men are far better off to completely forgo the dating game at work and to maintain a guarded distance (no, ribit - not "social distancing"!) from their female co-workers.

Vice President Mike Pence famously once said that "he never eats alone with a woman other than his wife and he won't attend events featuring alcohol without her by his side." Democrats, in general, and feminists, in particular, HOWLED in ridicule! BUT, he is absolutely correct in his assessment - especially given the predatory nature of some females who want to try to get ahead by crying "Wolf!"

Fox News has fired anchor Ed Henry following a sexual misconduct allegation by a former network staffer.

According to an internal memo sent to staff by Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott and President Jay Wallace Wednesday morning, the anchor’s termination follows an investigation into the allegation of misconduct.

“On Thursday, June 25, we received a complaint about Ed Henry from a former employee’s attorney involving willful sexual misconduct in the workplace years ago,” Scott and Wallace said.

The America’s Newsroom anchor was suspended the next day, pending an investigation from an outside law firm. He was fired six days after the initial complaint.

“Based on investigative findings, Ed has been terminated,” Scott and Wallace wrote.

Attorney Doug Wigdor, who has filed a series of lawsuits against Fox News, told Mediaite in an email that he was representing Henry’s accuser — confirming a CNN report. “We do represent the victim but have nothing to add at this point,” Wigdor said when reached for comment.

Henry, a longtime Washington D.C. correspondent, joined Fox News in 2011 after seven years at CNN. He served as chief White House correspondent for Fox during the Obama administration, with a term as president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, before a stint as co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend. In December, Fox News promoted Henry to co-anchor of America’s Newsroom — following Bill Hemmer’s elevation to his own 3 p.m. show — alongside Sandra Smith.

Smith reported Henry’s firing on the air during Wednesday’s broadcast of America’s Newsroom. “Rotating anchors will be sitting in with me until a replacement is named,” she said.

Henry’s time at Fox included controversy. In 2016, tabloids broke the story that the married Fox News reporter allegedly carried on a 10-month affair with a Las Vegas stripper. Henry was suspended by the network, and then-Fox News chief Roger Ailes issued a blistering statement regarding his employee: “This raises serious questions about Ed’s lack of judgement, especially given his position as a journalist.”

Ailes, of course, was forced out of Fox News in a network-wide sexual harassment scandal in 2016. The memo regarding Henry’s firing goes on to note Fox’s overhaul of its HR operation in January 2017, implemented to address the sexual harassment complaints at the network that prompted the ouster of Ailes as well as star host Bill O’Reilly.

WILFUL SEXUAL MISCONDUCT IN THE WORKPLACE ***YEARS*** AGO?

1) HOW MANY YEARS AGO?

2) WHY DID SHE WAIT SO LONG TO REPORT IT?

3) WHAT DID HE SAY OR DO?

------------

I feel sorry for you precious gents. You can't say or do a thing without worrying if your future includes attorneys.

However, feel free to tell me I look sexy in my new dress and don't worry about ambulance chasers.

Sexy - the new NO NO.

You really can't even say, "wow, you look nice today!"

-------------

I don't know what Ed Henry did or didn't do. But why did the babe wait years to report him? If she was scared, wouldn't she have called the police?

I don't get it.
