An interesting day that led to the culmination of something I had discussed and asked opinion on here prior...
We, my boss who alllows me to live here with her, and I have decided to postpone purchasing another vehicle for her so she could "sit up higher" than her 2004 Kia Optima which in in MINT condition and just under 100,000 miles on it, runs perfectly, everything works as it is supposed to and most everyting on it, all the mechanical and safety items like struts, brakes, tires, all fluids, belts, spark plugs, etc, are also all new...
SO, because the ruler of this house cannot seem to decide on what vehicle would be the one she wants, and it definitely cannot have a black leather interior, or exterior, and the seats need to fit just right because most in compact suv's are very narrow with very pronounced and rigid bolsters, and my growing, momentum building frustration, we have decided to call off the hunt for Red October...
Instead, we will have the main bath remodeled. This way we can spend more money for reasons that simply cannot be understood by rationally thinking people... 
SO now I get to attempt to drag her kicking and screaming, and only when its not really hot and humid, out to look for tile for the floor and decide what to have the new walk in shower, (exit the tub/shower), look like.. Assuming that we havea typical July and Augist, it looks like that trip to look at necesities is never gonna happen. So then we hear the compalining..
SO like is becoming interesting here in southern Ohio, as one goal post has been moved, and we set a new one in please to see how many detriments and impediments we can place in front of it and how many times we can move these posts backwards withh all the pre-conditions and ircumstances that are required to be met when trying to acomplish the new goal....

Had a very close lightning bolt last night.. I saw a little flash across my desk for a scant second.
nextt hing I knew my internet was not working. The network adapter on the motherboard got zapped.. I re-installed new driver multiple times and the adapter still is showing non-functioning.
So I had an old PCI slot eternet adapter card in a drawer. I pulled it out and stuck it in the slot, booted up, tried the internet and it functions...
SO I know the network adapter on the motherboard got zapped... I am picking up a new network adapter card today at microcenter because I have no idea if this one I stuck in handles gigabit speeds. And its old... bit it works in a pinch.
3. I have instructed an FFL licensed person I know to kindly acquire me another self defense item.
When they become more available that person will acquire it for me at his cost and necesary ammo to go break it in and have lots left over in case ever needed.
I believe civil war is coming. I see nobody stepping up in government doing their job and the RINOS are not doing anything about the oopen assaults and killings by LEFTIST MARXISTS and Criminals who can do anyting and get away with it..
I am not going to become a statistic... Nor my wife or family or our neighborhood.
HAve serious meeting at ten o'clock this morning so have to get ready... This client really needs some direction and I canonly hope they are at a point where they will pay attention and actually DO what I lay out for them to end their ongoing on problems they bring on themselves and then ask me what happened and can it be fixed...
SO I have another enginering friend coming down from Michigan to meet with us as well and he can re-inforce what I have to present and be part of the solution... It will take both of us to solve the issue which shold not have been difficult to avoid and apaprent to beginw ith, which leaves me to wonder at the level of intelligence of the persons in charge of design of manufacture and materials...
So thisis what happens when morons think they know it all and in fact, they simply are clueless even about obvious things....
So when I am done, they will either love me or hate me. I will tell them the cold hard truth and provide the solutions, there are two to choose from, and see what they decide to do... Cheap isn't always better...
