July 9, 2020 Democratic presidential candidate former Vice President Joe Biden laughs with audience members during a meeting with local residents, Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, in Emmetsburg, Iowa. With all that’s been going on, including two important SCOTUS decisions this morning, it’s worth remembering that Joe Biden is still running for president. The strategy of keeping him locked in his basement with hand picked questions and thorough notes to keep him on track has been largely successful. It’s allowed him to stay out of the public eye and keep the election a referendum on Trump. But despite their best efforts, the Biden campaign still fails at keeping the former VP’s brain from hard resetting on a regular basis. Biden, after mumbling and forgetting what he’s saying for several seconds, eventually falls back on his old standby, i.e. the excuse that he’s “taking too much time.” He used that line several times during the primary debates when he’d lose his train of thought. Speaking of debates, there aren’t going to be any, right? How can they let this guy appear in a two hour stage debate when he can’t remain lucid for ten minute, scripted video hit? He’s quite literally reading from a teleprompter here and still manages to screw it up. Some will say that he did a presser last week and that it went mostly fine. Yeah, it was fine if you think long, gaping pauses are normal and that a guy speaking so slowly that he appears to be on drugs is passable. But even then, he had a list of reporters to call on (something he mistakenly admitted) and obviously knew the questions he would be asked. Later in the above video, Biden would go on to flub the term “woke,” proclaiming that the working class are now “woked.” Biden’s fumbling was so bad that it even sparked a new meme, with people sharing the video and adding their own commentary.
In the end, look for the Biden campaign to put stipulations on the debates to try to force Trump to not want to participate. If they do agree to debate unhindered, they’ll likely try to limit it to one debate, that way they can shoot him up with whatever and pray he makes it through. This guy is not prepared to be President. He’s simply a puppet at this point, repeating Bernie Sanders talking points and serving as a stand in for the radicals around him. Electing Joe Biden is not the direction America needs to go.  Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%.
