As this video progressed, I found myself saying "Good!" and "Got it!" more often than I expected. According to the video, my wife and I are more prepared for TEOTWAWKI than I personally believe we are.

Our strengths: We've got the stockpiled food, the garden, water filters and water source, six months of essential medicines, a means of defending ourselves with accessible and ready-to-use weapons, a limited off-grid power supply - solar and wind (but not yet hooked up so they wouldn't help if the crisis hit today, and I still need to buy a bank of marine batteries), a location where we could put a latrine, no bad habits that need breaking, a wood burning stove for heat, a 6+ month nest egg including alternative currencies. We don't have a bug out bag, but given that we have two habitable locations 12 miles apart, I don't think it's needed. And I think we would have a better attitude than most in the event the grid goes down and society goes to he||..

Our weaknesses: We're lacking in physical fitness - we're not in BAD shape but it certainly could be better. We don't know our neighbors very well. We don't have a list of people we could call or rely on. We have hazmat safety suits but no gas masks.

How about you guys?
