wow. That looks like ya could cut it with a knife..

Here by the banks of the OHIO we are experiencing perfectly normal skies and cooler temps. Its very pleasant outside.

What De has confirmed is that the jet streams do indeed blow easterly and seem to maintain their latitude fairly well.

We should all be praying for a lot of RAIN for the pacific northwest to help slow down those fires and let the folks battling them get them under control.

We need a little divine intervention imo...

Here's a picture of the sun my wife took with her phone yesterday afternoon. No filtering. And the sky really was that color.

Most of the day, the sun couldn't even be seen.
